LIFE BEGINS OUTSIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE

We love to live in our 'COMFORT LAND'. We know the lifestyle there. Everything is familiar here. We know the thoughts and feeling that prevail here. The things that happen are no surprises and we know well enough how to react to these. But the burning question is: why do we need to get out of this familiarity and security. A safe place is a lovely place, yet nothing ever develops there, aside from apathy, tension and fears. Envision something you do each day or constantly, such as brushing your teeth, sitting in front of the TV, reading news or cooking breakfast. Day by day things that you're utilized to won't influence you to feel uneasy, awkward or on edge. Why? They have a place with your usual range of familiarity. For us, familiarity isn't simply more agreeable yet is by all accounts safe. That is the reason we are more inclined not to move out of our usual range of familiarity. Now imagine trying to quit smoking or eating less junk. How does this make you feel? Uneasy? Uncomfortable?

When we were in our learning years, trying out new things every single day, it was tough. We got hurt and many times didn't necessarily like doing them. But we eventually learnt them and got use to all the unfamiliarity which eventually expanded our comfort zone as well as our mind and intelligence. As we transcended into adulthood we stopped expanding this circle and became limited with what we knew. But the need of the hour is stepping out of this mental barrier and expanding our abilities and mind as much as we can. One need not only be limited to one type of work in his field.

Companies need more people who multitalented and versatile. Surprisingly, even a fear can drive you to your dream destination. All you need to do is to face it. The paradox of comfort zone is the following: people don't feel comfortable in their own comfort zones! They feel bored, anxious, depressed or insecure. Do you also feel like that sometimes? That's a sign! Definitely, you need to step out of your comfort zone. You should do the things, which help you grow and achieve your aim, make your dreams come true. To get there, you might need to develop or learn new skills, which require trying new things. By stepping out of your comfort zone, you will do that!

Here are some pointers about How to step out of your comfort zone:

• Change your negative thoughts into positive ones. don't think "how do i even start with this" to "let me try doing this" and "i won't be able to do this" to "i will try and succeed in this".
• Don't let your fears stop you. The only person stopping you is yourself. Try doing things one at a time and take your time.
• Just do it. If even for a split second you want to try something, do it. Do it before your fears overtake you and stop you.
