KEEP IT SIMPLE

Keep it simple. Be it your life, your thoughts or even yourself. Ockham's razor states that all things being equal, the simplest and most direct solution with fewer numbers of steps is usually the correct answer to any problem. This age old philosophy is also the most tested and accurate philosophy. Most of us are guilty of needlessly complicating our lives with complexities which are not at all necessary. The world today is actually starting to crawl towards its roots and going back to the original, simple ways of living and surviving in the world in a modernised way. After decades of trying out the complicated, supposedly better and advance ways, it decided the best way was already there. The more complex something is, the more ways there are for it to fail, and the more difficult it is to explain to someone else who needs to understand it. The allure of a good solution is that it won't be difficult for anyone with different levels of understanding to get the vision. The more complicated the directive, the greater the jeopardy that the idea will be lost in translation. Also, the more they get the more acceptances the idea gets. All this also works in our life. By keeping it simple we keep ourselves at peace and relaxed. But also remember: Simple doesn't mean easy. Some of the simplest things to do are often the most difficult. You cannot always control your life. Things get complicated some times. But you should be equipped to handle it and get back things to simple. Don't attract negative energy in your life. Avoid talking bad, negative thoughts and such people. Once you get all these out of your life, you will see your life getting easy and happier.

You will do what you want and think about things you desire. Redefine everything in your life. Chances are, you've been told lies about success and power and living a good life. Things like success were already defined for us- nice car, good paying job, fit and toned body etc. But those things are not success. They can be, but they don't have to be. The Indian Dream might not work for you, but it may work for someone else. Decide what you want. Define your own success. Remember: "everybody has their own private Mount Everest they were put on this earth to climb." So go on and redefine all the lies that were instilled in you to keep you a good consumer, destined to follow someone else's dream. Once you know what you truly want, go and earn it. Do you. Stop focusing and worrying about how other people live their life. Life becomes a whole lot better when you learn to shut out the outside noise, and focus on the noise going in your mind. Life is joyfully simple. Let's keep it that way.
